Occasionally, IT people have to replace a switch. I’m always annoyed having to write down what each port goes to or find a black sharpie. But if you have to do two or three switches, even the black sharpie method is a pain. These are 3D printed, numbered female ethernet clips - in separate colors. Pull a clip out of the plastic case… slap it onto the corresponding cable in your switch… let it dangle and repeat. When the switch is empty, replace it and plug everything back in. Without writing anything down. I know other people have their own systems, but this works for me as I have multiple switches with multiple VLANs — so it matters what cable goes where.
With the SINGLE SET, you get 51 port clips - color black with white text. -- Kits now include the original 1 thru 48, plus a 0 for switches like Juniper as well as SFP1 and SFP2.
With the TRIPLE SET, you get 153 port clips - 51 in black, 51 in brown, 51 in red (all with white text) -- Kits now include the original 1 thru 48, plus a 0 for switches like Juniper as well as SFP1 and SFP2.
DO NOT STORE IN SUPER HOT PLACES!! PLA plastic can warp at temperatures over 125F.
Due to the nature of 3D printing, each piece may have slight color variations or small blemishes / imperfections. I do my best to never ship anything that I personally feel is too far outside what would be considered optimal.
